In the current economic climate, whilst companies are seeking to minimise overheads, the burden of rate payments is becoming increasingly pronounced. Annual rate liability can equate to around 50% of the market rent of a property. It therefore makes sense to obtain professional advice to establish if a company’s level of rate payment is correct.
